Jams for the Spring

I'm back and giving people the music they need.  It's been a while so there are a lot of songs that you may have slipped under your radar.

Lie of a Mack- 100s

I was put onto 100s by a friend and he has quickly become one of my favorite new rappers.  100s is 19 years old with straight hair down to his waist.  He sounds like a combination of Too Short and Wiz to me.  You may have heard the song above while playing the new GTA.  If you like the song above you can buy his album on iTunes or download his mixtape here.

Sanctified- Rick Ross ft Kanye West and Big Sean

Coming off the recent album Mastermind by Rick Ross this song features Big Sean and Kanye West over a simple beat with what sounds like a gospel sample.  It's interesting to hear three of the biggest rappers on a song with little bass for most of the song and basically rapping over a metronome.  There are a couple great lines from Kanye in this track "ME TOO Aggressive?"

Put It In My Pocket- Rocko ft TI

We've heard some good songs from Rocko in the past.  He normally needs help on songs and TI does well to help carry the song.

Pink Toes- Childish Gambino ft Jhene Aiko

This is my personal favorite song on the album Because of the Internet.

Trophies- Drake

I posted this song for two reasons. If you've heard it before it never gets old.  If you've never heard Trophies before, your welcome.

Tim Westwood Mixtape Year of the Big Dawg

Tim Westwood is a goofy tall hip hop radio host from London and every year he mixes the hottest songs into one 60-80 minute track.  It's great for a party or at the gym or a road trip.

Cuffin Season- Fabolous

The song that may have caused Knicks' PG Felton to get arrested!

A couple bonus videos with no context needed.
